Syamcat Z317 and Z318 steam reforming catalysts are essential components in hydrogen production units. Expert Technical Service: On-Site Catalyst Loading
In early April 2024, the Syamcat technical team visited a refinery to provide expert on-site technical services for the loading of steam reforming catalysts in a 20,000 Nm³/h hydrogen production unit. This unit comprises 72 tubular reformers, using dry gas as feedstock.
Technical Proposal: Optimal Configuration of Z317 and Z318
Following the technical proposal outlined in the tender, Syamcat recommended a 1:1 ratio of Z317 and Z318 steam reforming catalysts. The Z317 catalyst was loaded at the top of the tubular reformers, while the Z318 catalyst was placed at the bottom. This configuration ensures optimal performance and long-lasting operation of the catalysts.
